Benefits of feeding Turmeric

Dogs – Turmeric contains a compound called curcumin which is essentially its active ingredient. Curcumin has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal, wound healing and anticancer activities.

Cats – Turmeric is beneficial for arthritic conditions and even anticancer support in cats due to its anti-inflammatory properties

Feeding Guidelines: 1/2 to 1 teaspoon per 10 kg two or three times a day

It can be applied to wounds mixed as a paste. Mix 50g in 250ml of hot water, cooled and then applied externally.
