🍽 Puppy Feeding Guide

Naked Dog recommends feeding puppies approximately 4–8% of their current body weight per day, depending on their age and stage of development.

Very young puppies generally require a higher percentage, which can gradually be reduced as they grow.

The correct amount will vary depending on your puppy’s:

• Age
• Current weight
• Breed and expected adult size
• Activity level
• Growth rate
• Body condition
• Individual nutritional requirements

Monitor your puppy’s body condition regularly and adjust their food accordingly.

Divide the daily amount into age-appropriate meals throughout the day.

Always ensure fresh drinking water is available.

🐶 Weaning Puppies

Naked Dog’s puppy recipes are finely minced to make them suitable for young puppies.

From approximately 3–4 weeks of age, puppies beginning the weaning process can be offered finely mashed Naked Dog puppy food while they are still receiving their mother’s milk.

Naked Dog recommends around 8% of body weight per day for puppies during the early stages, divided into approximately three meals.

Puppies are usually completely weaned by around 7–8 weeks of age.

From approximately 12 weeks, the feeding percentage can gradually begin to reduce towards around 6% of body weight, depending on the individual puppy.

• Keep frozen until required.
• Defrost thoroughly before feeding.
• Defrost in the refrigerator where possible.
• Once defrosted, keep refrigerated.
• Can be safely stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days after defrosting.
• Wash hands, bowls, utensils and preparation surfaces thoroughly after handling raw food.
